For parents and families who want to be involved in making decisions for the entire TCCA Head Start program, the Policy Council is for you.  Policy Council members are elected every year in October.

Classroom Volunteers

Volunteers are an important part of our Head Start and Early Head Start programs.   We have a great need for volunteers in a number of areas including:

Helping in classrooms

Sharing  a special talent such as music, reading, exercising
Cleaning and serving food
Donating funds or items of need for our program such as books, paper, etc.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone who has a passion for helping children and families. Each Head Start or Early Head Start volunteer must fill out an application form, sign an agreement of confidentiality, and agree to a background check since the safety of our children is our utmost concern. For an application please click
